Nothing Happening

Sorry for the lack of update but nothing much has been happening Ciara-wise! Now Ciara is on the new programme this is a good thing as we should be having a good couple of weeks between sessions. She's been in Portlaoise a couple of time for transfusions and is in again today for another load of platelets (lots of bruises). The results of today's full blood count showed that she will be bit and ready for another session of Chemo on Thursday.

We've just had a wonderfully sunny weekend for her fourth birthday, and she absolutely had a ball! She was in excellent form and went non-stop from 6am to 10pm. She's getting pretty proficient on her new Barbie bike already. I'll post a vid of the day once I've had a chance to put it together. Work is hell at the moment and I get home and crash!

Yvonne had a scan today. A blurred and squigling baby showed up on the monitor looking well. All normal so far and it's at 15 weeks.

Funny thing happened to us on Sunday while we were out for a bit of light retail-therapy. After queuing for ages for rapidly melting ice-cream, we asked the vendor what flavour "Pink Panther" actually was. We didn't want bubblegum ice-cream instead of strawberry. "Pink" was the answer from the girl with very poor English.
"No...pink is a colour, not a flavour. What flavour is it?", I asked.
"err....Pink"

At least it wasn't panther flavoured.
